RESTORE is a collection based around our need to retreat and restore ourselves, away from the onslaught of horror and confusion that the world often delivers to us through our many screens - what Walt Whitman called the ‘fathomless well of fault and foolishness!’
The paintings are intended to represent dream states - floating, calm, sleepy observations of beauty in the everyday - to restore us to a place where we can rally, reach out, represent and resist, our souls intact.
