'Save My Page' - limited edition X/20 canvas or paper print

from £135.00

'Your absence is a presence. Who knew an empty space could take up so much room?’

Jacqueline Simon Gunn

This print is taken from what may be my favourite of the chair paintings at the heart of the exhibition, ‘The Presence of Absence’. The empty chair symbolises the absence of a loved one, who is due to return or longed for. The open book on the arm of the chair suggests interruption.

The well loved, soft armchair suggests home, what Seamus Heaney described as ‘Here is love, like the tinsmith’s scoop, sunk past its gleam in the mealbin’.

Originally acrylic painting on canvas, the print gives all the texture and colour match of the original.

The print is available on 350gsm verona rag paper, with a white border, or as a framed or unframed canvas print.
