Brighton Festival Open House
I absolutely love showing at 44 Florence Road on the Fiveways Trail with Emily Boo and Friends. This will be my fourth time there. This is the venue for my bigger canvases, and this year I’ll be showing a full collection. Florence Road features 19 other really talented artists and makers and it’s a beautiful house and garden to glide around in, too - I love meeting and chatting with people during the open houses and I hope to see you there.

For my first solo exhibition in three years, I have set myself a challenge: 5 paintings in 10 categories: still life; people; boats; houses; landscapes; chairs; birds; animals; drawings; washing
It gives me a chance to play and practise and get out of my comfort zone and try to bring out some of the styles I’ve tried out in the past or still do in my sketch books. Watch my Instagram stories to see how I’m getting along.
I’m a bit nervous about them - I love to paint on a big scale and these will be all sizes and will hopefully stretch my own and your idea about ‘what I do’. Please come along and judge for yourself!
